Airsoft Megastore was given exclusive access to Shot Show 2012 this year, and it was amazing. If you are not familiar with the Shot Show, it is the world’s largest shooting sports, hunting and law enforcement convention. The Shot Show showcases the industry, including the latest developments in firearms, ammunition and airsoft BBs, law enforcement, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics and other related products and services. The Shot Show is open to industry insiders only, so needless-to-say Airsoft Megastore was stoked to be given full access to entire event and permitted to film and share our experiences.

David and Vince arrived at the Shot Show on January 17th and started a comprehensive video tour for all the airsoft related booths. They learned about upcoming airsoft trends and collected awesome swag for some lucky Airsoft Megastore Facebook fans.

Highlights of the Airsoft Megastore Shot Show 2012 tour include:

• The NcSTAR table showed us their newest Evo Scopes, lasers, and soft goods for better maneuverability on the airsoft field. After viewing the latest from NcSTAR, Vince and David can attest that their 2012 gear is consistent with what you’d expect from NcSTAR; reasonably priced, quality optics with innovative design.


• Airsoft Megastore also had a chance to meet with ActionSportsGames or ASG, and view their upcoming line of hardcore airsoft firearms. A relative newcomer to the US Airsoft industry, ASG has more than 15 years of solid airsoft distribution experience in Europe, with especially strong presence in France, Poland, Scandinavia and the UK. ASG focuses on the high end airsoft market and Airsoft Megastore is looking forward to see what they bring to the fray!


• Airsoft Megastore also interviewed Sean at Spartan Imports – an Airsoft Megastore partner. Sean showed us some not-yet-released airsoft AEGs, including SR series and Magpul airsoft sniper rifles, some killer airsoft gas guns and also some insane new gas grenades.


• Cliff at Umarex told us a bit about Elite Force, including their warranty and service program. Umarex focuses on high end and competitive airsoft scene and they have a lot of cool new products including high quality airsoft gun bbs.


• Jim at KWA showed us around some rad new airsoft pistols. We were super excited to check out the ERG – electric recoil gun – exclusively licensed to Magpul. This exciting new series comes in three types: PTS CQB, PTS Scout mid-length, and PTS SPR long-rifle… and they are looking to launch in summer 2012.


• And now for something completely different... we got the opportunity to play with new (and always entertaining) Zombie guns from Double Star – featuring crazy add-ons like holographic sites, tactical bottle opener and chainsaw, for added zombie carnage. Mike barely escaped with his limbs intact.
